If you’re like me, you’ve read about the economic crisis and you’ve wondered: when will this crisis affect me directly? The answer: probably never. Because if you’re like me you’re 24, you don’t work in the financial sector, you’re not saddled with a bad mortgage, and you’re an unemployed writer. For what it’s worth, you were in pretty bad shape BEFORE this financial mess.
Luckily, I took an economics class in high school so let me explain how, in small ways, this crisis can affect the way you live:
First of all: say goodbye to mustard. As small grocery stores and delis (like the one down the street from you) tighten their belts because of falling revenue you’re going to see them stop carrying a wide selection of luxury mustards like the spicy German one you really, really like. Sure you could switch to basic yellow mustard but you don’t like yellow mustard because you’re not seven.
Second of all: your parents will leave you alone about getting a real job. Remember when you told your dad that you weren’t going to law school so you could stay in New York City and write comedy? Remember how he freaked out? Well now his 401K portfolio is close to worthless thanks to his broker’s bad investments and he’s completely forgotten about you for the time being. So, yeah, I guess a “traditional career” isn’t as stable as you think, Dad.
Third of all: your friend Mike who got laid off from his office job will ask you if you have any leads on a job. Like all the time. Dude, I just want to hang out and play your Xbox 360 because I don’t have one. Look at me. It’s a 2pm on a Monday. I’m wearing sweatpants. Do you honestly think I can find you a job? And for the last time, no man, I don’t want to pitch in for weed because it’s your apartment and you offered. Hospitality, bro.

I just got an IPHONE Mini from a friend of mine, and i cant figure out how to transfer photos, music, videos from my computer to the iphone. I connected the usb, and it showed “mass storage” and i clicked on that, and then nothing happens. Is there a software i can use to transfer music onto it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Saved website. Are grateful for giving. Absolutely really worth time clear of my research.
Fantastic blog post!
Do you have a spam problem on this site; I also am a blogger, and I was curious about your situation; we have created some nice methods and we are looking to exchange strategies with other folks, please shoot me an email if interested.
The crux of your writing while appearing reasonable initially, did not sit properly with me personally after some time. Someplace within the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately only for a while. I still have a problem with your leaps in assumptions and one would do well to help fill in those breaks. In the event you can accomplish that, I could surely end up being fascinated.
Let us not forget that Reagan’s future vp (Bush) and cia chief (Casey) met with the Ayatolla Khomeini behind the back of the then-current Carter administration (treason) and arranged for Iran to keep the American hostages until after the election. In return Iran got, at the very least, a conduit thru which to illegally receive missiles and other armaments–which came to light when traitor Ollie North got busted taking the missile $$$ and giving it to friends in Central America who turned out, naturally enough, to be drug smugglers USA-bound. Ah, the good old days…
